Key Features

Flexible & High Density

The 2U Lenovo ThinkSystem D3 Chassis adds flexibility and density to a standard server rack. With support up to 4 multi-node servers and the ability to mix node types in a 1U / 2U combination within the chassis, the ThinkSystem D3 chassis increases the in-rack density and flexibility. A customer can also mix AMD and Intel® nodes within the same chassis to add agility to the solution.

Maximum Efficiency

The ThinkSystem D3 Chassis supports up to 3 CRPS power supplies that are shared among the nodes installed in the chassis. This reduces the number of power supplies needed versus a standard 2U rack server. Power is management is provided through Lenovo XClarity Controller and is managed by the individual node. You can throttle up or down depending on the workload in each node.

The ThinkSystem D3 Chassis is an integral part of the Lenovo Multi-Node server solution.
